This blog entry is a continuation of my relevation of which .me sites I got hold of. To catch up, have a look at:

I bought bakers.me for a number of reasons:

  1. I love cooking and could develop the site in that line.
  2. Baker is the family name and I could make this the official family website
  3. "Bakers" is a site which has the potential to be developed for commerical purposes, so has intrinsic value

As you may know when more than one person tried to purchase a .me site it went up for auction, and I am participating in about 10 auctions. What's a real pain is that often when the auction is meant to end, they extend it, so instead of winning or losing you get a message like:
